1. Municipal Park of Katerini
The Municipal Park of Katerini with an area of approximately 51000 sq.m. with more than 1000 trees and more than 40 species and with huge perennial trees among them, is located in the center of the city and is probably one of the most beautiful places in Katerini. Around the park there are several cafes, bakeries and shops. You can walk to the park, enjoy your coffee, cycle or relax on the benches. Inside the park there is a children’s playground as well as a theater, which occasionally hosts various performances.
2.Katerini’s city center
At the beginning of the pedestrian street of M. Alexandrou Str., there is the historic Eleftherias (Liberty) Square, which is dominated by the Statue of Liberty. Katerini's bustling pedestrian street is the city's commercial and entertainment hub, lined with cafes, bars, and shops and ideal for relaxation and shopping without the pressure of time. A short distance from the central Eleftherias (Liberty) Square, is the Town Hall Square where the city’s Town Hall stands.
3.Olympus festival
The favorite summer Olympus festival starts each year from July to September with a full program of live music, performances, and various cultural events in the Pieria region. Ideally, you can enjoy amazing shows in the Greek historical places, family-friendly fun, Archaeological Speeches, and concerts.
