1.Archaeological Site of Dion and Archaeological Museum
The archeological site of Dion is located at the foot of Mount Olympus in Pieria, 15 km from Katerini. The park which has an area of 150 hectares, is flat and is covered by rich vegetation of deciduous trees. Vaphyras river flows through the site and in antiquity, it was navigable and connected the city of Dion with the sea. One of the most important and impressive elements of the ancient city is the surviving paved main road, 670 meters long, which crosses the city from north to south and is the basis of a grid of secondary vertical and parallel roads. In the city blocks that are formed, shops, workshops, luxury houses, public baths, and public toilets. Half a kilometer west of the archaeological park, is the archaeological museum which is is filled with sculptures from Hellenistic and Roman times, including Portraits, Tools, Mosaics, Marble and Clay Marble, and Statuettes. 2.Holy Monastery of Agios Dionysios
At the foot of Mount Olympus, three kilometers from Litochoro is the Holy Monastery of Agios Dionysios on Mount Olympus. This is the part of the old Monastery founded by Agios Dionysios, which was destroyed by the Nazis in 1943, so the monks founded the new monastery, not far from the first one, which still operates today. The relics of Agios Dionysios, part of the Holy Rood, icons of the 15th-19th century, and ecclesiastical relics of great historical and artistic value are kept in its sacristy.
3.Castle of Platamonas
The Platamon Castle is a Crusader castle (built between 1204 and 1222) in Macedonia and it is an important part of the history of Pieria. The tower which overlooks the highway, is an imposing medieval fortress and is in a short distance from the small town of Platamonas. A footpath leads from the parking lot to the gate of the castle, on a rocky hill with a unique view both on the shores of Platamonas and Panteleimonas.

Pаlaios Рantelеimοnas is а mοuntainоus village оn the slopеs οf Mоunt Οlympus. Thе village hаs narrow сοbbled аlleys аnd hοuses in trаditiοnal stуle. Mаny of thе tavernаs and cаfes havе nice viеws tοward thе sea. It is loсated 5 кm awaу frοm the sеa and thе closеst beaсhes arе thοse оf Plаtamonаs and Pаralia Рantelеimοnas.
